- REST API architecture: HTTP methods, response codes, headers, and authentication
- Validating API endpoints directly using Playwright's APIRequestContext module
- JSON Schema validation and deep payload assertions for contract testing
- Hybrid testing: combining API setup with UI verification for accelerated test runs
Module 5: Continuous Integration (CI/CD) & Advanced Reporting
- Headless test execution and containerized test runs inside Docker
- Integration with GitHub Actions for automated test runs on Pull Requests
- Debugging failed tests with Playwright Trace Viewer and rich Allure HTML reports
- Parallel test execution and sharding across multiple runners to slash run times
