Module 1: Modern Python 3.12 & Software Engineering
- Modern Python syntax: type hints, dataclasses, pattern matching, and decorators
- Enterprise Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SOLID design in Python
- Dependency management with Poetry and isolated virtual environments
- File I/O operations, JSON serialization, and structured logging
Module 2: RESTful API Development with FastAPI & Pydantic
- FastAPI framework architecture compared with Django and Flask
- Rigorous request and response data validation with Pydantic v2 models
- Modular routing with APIRouter, native dependency injection, and parameter validation
- Automated interactive API documentation with Swagger UI and Redoc
Module 3: Asynchronous Persistence with SQLAlchemy 2.0 & PostgreSQL
- Asynchronous concurrency concepts: event loop, async/await, and I/O performance
- Asynchronous ORM modeling with SQLAlchemy 2.0 and PostgreSQL
- Database migration management using Alembic
- Relationship mapping, query optimization, and atomic transaction handling
Module 4: Authentication, Web Security & Access Control
- Implementing secure OAuth2 Password Bearer authentication flows
- Password hashing with bcrypt and JWT token generation and verification
- Defending against common web vulnerabilities and CORS configuration
- Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and granular endpoint permission scoping
Module 5: Caching, Background Tasks & Automated Testing
- High-performance caching and rate limiting with Redis integration
- Executing asynchronous background tasks (BackgroundTasks and Celery basics)
- Automated unit and integration testing using Pytest and HTTPX async client
- Measuring test coverage and mocking external third-party services
Module 6: Docker Containerization, Observability & Capstone Project
- Crafting optimized multi-stage Dockerfiles for Python applications
- Local multi-container orchestration with Docker Compose (FastAPI + PostgreSQL + Redis)
- Health checks, Prometheus metrics, and production cloud readiness
- Enterprise capstone project defense and technical resume preparation
